E-Energy

Definition:
intelligent energy system, supported by a technology program on the basis of a decision by the German Bundestag, which develops and proves in six model regions new approaches for optimization of energy supply through the application of modern information and communication technologies

NOTES: E-Energy stands for "Electronics and Energy", focused to the convergence of internet world with the energy world and is on of the most important flagship projects of the german federal government.
